How to add additional data to the common data directories¶

Data to the common input data directories can only be copied there by the assistants. There are different pathways:

assistant logs in on nird and puts files to the folder visible to the jupyterhub eg /projects/NS1000K/FORCeS2020/other-modeldata
data are fetchable somewhere, and Jonas transfers them
CMIP6 data are best added to the database under NS9252K by routines developed by MET. Put an issue under github and Jan Griesfeller will help to download any missing data.
